Frequently asked questions

Planning an engagement with MedImpact Advisory.

Practical answers about our services, geographic focus and approach to working with institutions.

What services does MedImpact Advisory provide?

We provide four integrated service lines: Health Programme Management; Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL); Health Products Procurement and Negotiation; and Capacity Building and Strategic Advisory.

What types of organisations do you work with?

We work with institutions delivering and supporting health programmes, including international NGOs, UN agencies, ministries of health, donors and health facilities.

Where does MedImpact Advisory work?

MedImpact Advisory is based in Abidjan and focuses on West Africa, Central Africa and Francophone Africa.

What kinds of health-programme assignments can you support?

Assignments may include programme design and operational planning, medical and operational coordination, quality of care, epidemic response, health systems strengthening, evaluation and operational research. The appropriate scope is agreed for each organisation’s context and objectives.

How does an engagement typically begin?

An engagement begins with listening and diagnosis to understand your context, constraints and objectives. The work is then defined in clear, agreed phases, including how success will be measured.

Can you support monitoring, evaluation and learning needs?

Yes. MEAL support can include logical and results frameworks, indicators and dashboards, health information systems, mid-term, final and impact evaluations, and operational research.

How are health-products procurement assignments handled?

Support can cover needs assessment, technical specifications, supplier identification and qualification, negotiation, quality and regulatory compliance, and logistics coordination. MedImpact Advisory advises and negotiates on the client’s behalf; it does not purchase or resell goods.

How do you handle confidential enquiries, and how can we get in touch?

Sensitive programme and procurement enquiries are handled in strict confidence. Use the contact page to describe your programme, evaluation or sourcing need, and we will respond with a tailored proposal without obligation.
